About Beth

My introduction to the wonderful world of Mid-Century architecture was born the summer of 1982 when I lived with my Aunt and Uncle in their Palo Alto Eichler home. Although it was very out of style in the ‘80’s, my fascination of an atrium in one’s home and my love for the vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows bringing the outside in has remained with me.

When I moved back to Portland from San Francisco and became a Realtor in 2001 I discovered the Rummer! I was thrilled to find that Portland could have a taste of that wonderful Post and Beam architecture. I built a search for Rummer homes and similar Mid-Century modern homes that I kept to myself for a couple years. But soon I realized there was a whole world of similarly minded home buyers who would benefit from a website that posted only Mid-Century homes For Sale, and so was born PortlandMidCentury.com.

My love of interesting architecture does not stop with Mid-Century Modern homes however. My appreciation runs deep for homes built with style, a sense of good design and beautiful materials. As your Realtor I come with a degree from the University of Oregon and have 15 years of business background. My love and appreciation for a beautiful home stops when the house is found, my business background kicks into high gear when it is time to put the deal together. I know how to sell a home quickly and for the highest price and on the flip side, I am skilled at winning the bidding war for these highly sought after homes.
